BNHA Cookbooks is totally stoked to present to you the first of many Boku no Hero Academia themed culinary projects, Chibi Chiefer: A Mini BNHA Chibi Cannabis Cookbook Zine (Bite-Size Edition). We'll be smoking you out with a digital cookbook zine centered around chibis and cannabis snacks that is 100% free! So calling all BNHA chibi and cannabis lovers, come roll one up with us

Contributor Guidelines

General
• Must be 18 Years Old Or Older
• Must have a Discord Account / Be Willing To Create One

Writers
Aspiring Writers contributors should have some basic understanding of cooking and be proficient in writing characters from Kohei Hirokoshi's hit series Boku no Hero Academia.

As part of contributor applications, Chefs / Writers will be asked to submit 3 samples (SFW or NSFW) of what they deem their best written work. Works should not exceed 3.5K (excerpts are allowed). Portfolios can also be submitted (optional).

Sample Requirements
3 Samples
• At least 1 of the samples MUST be from the BNHA fandom

Judging Criteria
• Stylization: Custom written style specific to you as a writer (includes the use of proper spelling and grammar)
• Plot: Appealing storyline that captures the reader’s attention
• Flow: Ability to introduce characters, setting and plot at a reasonable pace and within the specified word count.
• Pitch: You are encouraged to provide at least two pitches detailing a possible idea and character(s) you would like to write.

Expectations
• Writers will be expected to write 1 SFW fic (1K - 1.5K) related to a character based recipe assigned via our Mod Chef.

Artists / Merch Artists
Aspiring Artists and Merch Artist contributors should be willing to draw culinary related elements (including but not limited to food, dishes, utensils and appliances) and proficient in drawing characters from Kohei Hirokoshi's hit series Boku no Hero Academia in a chibi style.

As part of contributor applications, Artists will be asked to submit 3 samples (SFW or NSFW) of what they deem their best work. Artists may also submit a portfolio (optional).

Sample Requirements
3 Samples
• At least 1 of the samples MUST be from the BNHA fandom
• At least 1 MUST feature a chibi style

Judging Criteria
• Chibi Stylization: Ability to capture original character and maintain recognizability in the chibi style.
• Lineart: Defined lineart, as dictated by the Artist's style and full color
• Composition: Balance and clarity of the overall illustration.
• Pitch: You are encouraged to provide at least two pitches detailing a possible idea and character(s) you would like to illustrate.

Those interested in applying as Merch Artists can also expect to be judged on the criteria above.

Expectations
• Artists will be expected to create 2 spot illustrations to be featured alongside 2 character based recipes, assigned via our Mod Chef.
• Additionally, Artists will have the option of contributing a full page illustration (embodies the general theme of the cookbook).

• Merch Artists will be expected to create up to 2-3 merch items.

What is BNHA Cookbooks?
BNHA Cookbooks is a recurring collaborative project geared towards creating Boku no Hero Academia-themed cookbooks!

How do these projects work?
A theme will be selected or polled followed by an Interest Check. If successful others will have the opportunity to join the project via Contributor Apps. Upon acceptance, contributors will progress through a Creation Period and help create a finished cookbook!

Will projects be for profit or for charity?
Projects will vary from free, for charity, and for profit. Please refer to Current Project for active project specs.

Is there an age restriction?
All interested in BNHA Cookbook projects must be 18 years old or older.

CHIBI CHIEFERS
What is Chibi Chiefers?
Chibi Chiefers is a cannabis-themed mini cookbook featuring chibi versions of BNHA characters. This particular edition (bite-size) will focus on cannabis-infused snacks.

What is a Chiefer?
A Chiefer is a slang term used to describe someone who partakes in cannabis.

Is Chibi Chiefers a charity or for profit project?
Chibi Chiefers is a free cookbook zine.

Is Chibi Chiefers physical or digital?
Chibi Chiefers is digital only.
